One job, done in a few shapes. A cover goes over an absorbent brief and keeps the leak inside it.
- Soft TPU, not PVC the sheet material is thermoplastic polyurethane, which stays quiet under clothing and breathes better than the old plastic pants.
- Leak guards at the leg the wider lines add a raised flap along the thigh, which is where a brief usually fails first.
- Washable and reusable these are laundry, not landfill. The pack sizes exist so there is a dry one while the others dry.
- Pull-on shapes the covers pull on like underwear rather than fastening at the side, so the size has to be right at the hip.
Florith started with one cover. Someone in the family needed something that went over a brief at night and did not announce itself through a duvet, and the plastic pants sold for that job in those years crackled at every turn. That first piece was cut in soft TPU sheet instead, and the rest of the range grew from what people asked for next: a size that was missing, a colour that was not white, a pack of four for a house where the laundry runs every day.
The Florith lineup is still narrow on purpose. Nine lines cover one problem in a few shapes, and every one of them does the same job: hold what an absorbent brief cannot, wash at a normal temperature, and go back on the shelf dry. We would rather run six sizes of one good shape than thirty shapes that each fit one body.
The people behind Florith test the way most small ranges do, which is to say on ourselves and on the people who asked for the piece in the first place. That is where the sizing advice on this site comes from. Almost every complaint we read about a cover is a complaint about the thigh, and almost every one of those turns out to be a piece bought a size down. So the measuring tape comes before the basket, and the sizing page says so twice.
What we at Florith will not do is dress this up. A cover is a laundry item. It does not treat anything, it does not absorb on its own, and it will not rescue a night if the brief underneath it is the wrong size. The ratings printed next to each line are the ones the pieces actually carry, including the ones we would rather were higher. A range this small cannot afford to be believed once and doubted afterwards.
